We allow you to easily sign a direct debit mandate. You do not have to sign a paper document or go to the bank. With Twikey, you can also view an overview of all mandates at a glance. Banks that work with us will also display them in their own internet banking environment.
A direct debit mandate can be changed or canceled at any time! And you can manage this yourself. Twikey will notify your suppliers.
If you wish to change banks, how are you going to notify all your suppliers of this change? You can fill out documents, make phone calls all day, visit your bank or you can use Twikey.
The same problem arises when you want to change your account number.
Your address has changed: no problem. Change it once in Twikey and we will notify the suppliers you wish to inform.
You can also make payments via Twikey without direct debit. Twikey is linked to more than 10 different payment providers and if the supplier provides your invoice it can also be downloaded.
How do I use Twikey as a consumer?
Sign a direct debit:
Either you have been invited by your supplier, or you take the initiative yourself via the supplier's website to accept a direct debit mandate. Your supplier can invite you via email, SMS, WhatsApp or via the payment invitation joined to your invoice. To give your approval, you only need an electronic ID or a payment card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), an account number and a BIC code (outside the Benelux). In all cases, paper documents are definitively a thing of the past. You will always receive a proof at the end.
All banks that are affiliated with us can also display these mandates in your eBanking overview.
All types of payments are possible. Of course you do not need to do anything for a direct debit. Your supplier will take care of this. For other payments, please follow the on screen instructions. How do I edit my mandate details?
You can easily change your account number or any other detail. You can do this as follows:
Take the mandate number from our confirmation email or from the PDF.
Log in to the Twikey page.
Enter your e-mail address.
Enter your mandate number.
Change the details and follow the bank instructions if applicable.
Start with direct debits and the signing of mandates. You do not need to have a website. Your customers can accept a mandate on your "your company - Twikey" site. You only need to configure some additional parameters. Would you like to start with payment links or add a payment link to your invoice? This is possible via API, UBL or PDF. I have a small business, can Twikey help me?
Twikey specializes in providing solutions for companies with recurrent customers. Depending on what you want, we offer you a solution for direct debits, payment links or invoices with a payment link. For a "small" company it is at least as important to be able to process everything fully automatically.
Can Twikey assist me with the collection of direct debits?
Together with our partner banks and payment service providers, we can assist you in collecting your payments.

Can Twikey be integrated into my own website?
This can be set up in a very simple way. Everything can be controlled from your website for mandates and multiple payment methods.
Is Twikey compatible with my ERP, CRM or accounting system?
Twikey can communicate with your accounting system in three different ways.
Either through an existing extra plug-in from Twikey, such as Teamleader, Exact Online, Salesforce ...
Or a partner has already made the effort, eg Onfact, Informat (for schools), Fleetmaster (for leasing / renting), Civadis (for cities and municipalities), Reinaert ....
Or through the import / export of data. Do not hesitate to ask us to add an extra input or export format. Format such as Cipal / Schaubroek. CSV, UBL, PDF or XML have no secrets for us.

Is a mandate accepted through Twikey legal?
Twikey has hired the best electronic signature experts and has extensively discussed this topic with the banks. Without going deeper into the technical details; we lead the end customer to a legally binding electronic signature through the use of an electronic ID ( eID and Itsme for Belgium, iDIN for the Netherlands) or through a card issued by the bank. This signature can be verified by any party (end customer, supplier and bank) at any time and the electronic mandate can be used as valid proof in case of disputes.
Every step of the process is developed in accordance with the EPC guidelines and the European legislation to best protect the rights of the end customer.
